Plumbing Service Checklist

Congratulations!

You’ll be getting new countertops soon. This is a simple checklist of our plumbing services, what is included and what charges could possibly be if there are conditions that require us to do more than a standard hookup to make your plumbing experience meet your expectations.

NOTE: We do require all new faucets for plumbing services provided by Rocktops.

• • Basic hookup for Kitchen = $595.00

This includes basic plumbing labor to hook up drains to your sink, install and hook up your new “single hole” style faucet. Basic drain “P trap” and new drain pipe pieces included. We’ll also connect your existing disposal (Insinkerator or Badger models only) and dishwasher drain line to the new configuration. This includes three new shut-off valves (Hot/Cold/Dishwasher). We’ll run the hot and cold water to both drains to make sure there are no water leaks in the water supply connections or the drain assemblies. Also, we’ll run a quick fill/drain cycle of the dishwasher to make certain the water supply and drains are functioning properly.

*new sink must have a drain on the same side of existing sink

• • Stainless Strainer Basket/Waste Flange = INCLUDED (unless specialty)
  • Install New Soap Dispenser = NO CHARGE
  • Install New Customer Supplied Disposal Air Switch = NO CHARGE
  • Air Switch Kit with standard chrome Button/trim = $150.00
  • Air Switch Kit with colored finish Button/trim = $200.00

Additional Services

• • Install existing dishwasher = $150.00

This is not a common detail needed, as there is no reason to remove your dishwasher to replace countertops. This is an optional service. We will reconnect the existing water and drain lines and run a quick cycle to make sure there are no leaks. We’re not responsible for replacing ANY parts when you keep your existing dishwasher.

• • Hook Up Existing Electric Cook Top = $150.00

This includes re-connecting existing wires to the existing power supply and turning the breaker on to test power is getting to your cooktop. We cannot be responsible for individual burners or switches that do not function. This is a simple hookup with no warranty. We are simply restoring the power to your appliance

• • Hook Up Existing Gas Cook Top = $150.00
  • Retro Fit Existing Gas Cook Top = $250.00

This includes reconnecting the existing vent to the power supply and exhaust duct and testing power is connected. No Warranty on the functionality of “Pop Up” style vents. No Replacement parts included.

• • Basic Hookup for Single Vanities (Per Vanity, NEW Single hole or 3 hole set faucets) = $495
  • Basic Hookup for Double Vanities (Per Vanity, NEW Single hole or 3 hole set faucets) = $695

This includes basic hookup of your new faucet (Style specific listed above), installing the drain assembly to the sink, and basic “P Trap” and drain extension pieces. This also includes two new shut-off valves per faucet. Unknown Charges – IF NECESSARY will be discussed with the homeowner by the plumber prior to execution and payment collected on site. Including but not limited to:

• Drain Relocation
• Under Counter Vent Relocation
• Supply Lines
• • Rocktops has NO WARRANTY on existing faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, and all other preexisting materials. We will not source or supply replacement parts including connectors, internal faucet parts, aerators, or pull-out spray heads that commonly fail to function properly from normal use. If removing the faucet permanently damages connectors, brackets, or supply lines, you will be required to purchase and have a new faucet on site prior to our plumber returning for the scheduled hookup.
  • Rocktops warrants its materials and workmanship to be free from defects for one year after the performance. This warranty does not cover faults caused by misuse; negligence; or damage caused by acts of God. If a manufacturer offers a warranty, said warranty shall negate and supersede Rocktops warranty.
  • The customer shall telephone RockTops within twenty-four (24) hours of the discovery of any warranty claim. RockTops will respond with reasonable promptness between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
  • RockTops warrants leaks at the reconnect site for 48 hours post reconnect.
  • RockTops will not install or connect new appliances.

When scheduling bars and laundry rooms for plumbing services they will be per bid. Multiple area customer service discount provided per quote.
